WHAT IS VNA RACKING?
Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Racking is an innovative storage solution that maximizes warehouse space by minimizing aisle width. It is similar to the design of selective racking, but the VNA racking system allows for higher-density storage and better use of vertical space. The narrow aisles require specialized forklifts for efficient operation, ensuring quick and easy access to all inventory. VNA racking maintains direct access to all stored units, but the configuration of the system utilizes the available space more efficiently.
How Does VNA Work?
VNA racking feature aisles that are much narrower than those found in traditional warehouses. These aisles are typically between 1.5 to 2.0 meters wide, allowing for more storage space within the same floor. Due to the slimmer aisles, a special forklift is necessary to be able to access the units safely.
